
As spiritual beings we intake so much and have so much to hold on a daily basis. This includes our own thoughts and behaviours, other peoples ideas, words and actions, ideas from media, cultural, spiritual, psychological, emotional and physical values. It becomes critical as we go about our lives, to take responsibility for how we use our energy and how we protect it. Too often we barely register consciouness to our own energetic activity or think of the energy of others and their impact upon us. Until of course we feel odd, or think something strange may be happening, have an overly emotional reaction that is out of context with our situation, or perhaps we become ill. Headaches, irrationality, feeling a little off without any real reason may all be signs that energetic flow has been interupted or possibly even contaminated.
Daily protecting our energy flow, ensuring it doesn't leak out and impact others and making sure we clear negative energy blocks and protect ourselves from the often unconscious energetic attacks of others is necessary and a useful addition to our everyday life. This allows us not only to go about our day with clarity in thought, mind and deeds, it also allows us to create space for intuitive and spiritual guidance to enter into our world. From a clear and open pathway we open and prepare for new possibilities and guidance to enter our life with clarity and grace. It is possible for us to enrich our lives and vibrate on another level beyond the dimension of our everyday.
I share these skills I have been fortunate to learn, to assist you in clearing and protecting your energy. Use them when you feel your energy is blocked or stuck. When you feel the energy of another person has invaded your space. Or when you feel that your energy is leaking out and you need to contain and bring it closer and back to you. It is great practice to use the relevant exercises daily, when you begin and end your day, whenever you interact with others - over the phone, by e-mail, letters or in conversation or gatherings.
There are many authors who offer other exercises for similar and additional energetic practices. Begin to look for these and as you practice them daily in your life notice the change you feel and how your actions and demeanor change accordingly. You will become softer and more aware, you may being to stop yourself from speaking or acting wihout thinking and identify how often you have done this in the past, you may take control of energy that is trying to attack you and realise that you do have the power to interject and move on. There is a gentleness that arrives with the protecting of your energetic flow, it seems to stem from the knowingness that you have the ability to take a lot more responsibility for what has been flowing to and through you. You will be more grounded and strong in your foundation while becoming conscious and responsible for your energetic flow.
